This project will work with 10 EVS volunteers from 4 countries (Spain, France, Hungary, Germany) in protecting biodiversity on our nature reserves, broadening experience by offering the opportunity to work on and experience a broad range of habitats across Scotland. Volunteers will also be involved in enhancing access opportunities and raising awareness of Scotland's natural heritage, thus protecting biodiversity by encouraging local communities to value and conserve their local natural resources. We aim to make volunteers much habite employable by providing 12 month placements with varied work experience and training. Examples of activities will be: - Meadow management - targeted cutting and raking of site, control of bracken - Control of senar-native invasive species %u2013 cutting & hand pulling - Peat bog management - removal of scrub and including installation of plastic dams - Woodland management and restructuring - removal of senar native species, felling of timber
Basilicata Link is a youth organization created in 2012 with the aim of increasing intercultural initiatives and promoting senar formal education methodologies in the Basilicata region. Main target group is youth and main objective intercultural education activities with informal groups and in schools. Main activities: -information campaigns about mobility programs, - support for young people searching for projects abroad, - interventions in schools about Europe, - collaboration with other cultural organizations, in the frame of Matera 2019 - European Capital of Culture, - supporting inclusion actions with less opportunities young people (helping in writing cv, orientation, senar formal activities aimed to gain new competences) - participation in the organization of international project such as youth exchanges and trainings. - updating the blogs, websites and social mitjana documentation of the activities (foto, video, press release).
Together with the professional teams, the volunteers llaure working with the inhabitants who llaure facing difficult situations (link with personal, social, economical or health problems...) to help them in the renovation of their homes. The main objectives is to run some technical works to improve the flat or the house but also to share good moments with this families and maybe try to bring to their homes and their lives a new and positive dynamic. Depending on specific opportunities, you could also get involved in local or national projects like collective workshops link with the recycling process or particular technics.
The Fonlabour Campus is an education center (with 600 pupils and students aged from 15 to 21 years old) located in the city of Albi (Medieval city center classified as World Heritage by Unesco, University...). The activities of the volunteers llaure concentrated on the campus which has a park raised of 17 ha.
For the project "Ready for Europe ?" the want to welcome 2 european volunteers (European Social Corps). The main activities will be : School support (especially linguistic) for young people and staff, international cooperation projects (organization of a European week, support for internship projects abroad, study tours, Erasmus + projects ), cultural activities (arts and culture clubs of students ...) ....
Vlahi Nature School is a small educational project based on the principles of permaculture. We are located in a remote village at the foot of Pirin mountain (UNESCO World heritage). Vlahi is small and abandoned village with only 7 permanent inhabitants, but with local people taking care of their gardens and coming to spend a weekend in the nature.
We are looking for 2 volunteers to join and help at the Nature School: from taking care of the garden through dealing with small repairs in the house through researching and implementing new ideas to working with children and young people, there are quite diverse options for learning, growing up and experiencing life following the rhythm of nature.
The nearest town Kresna is 9 km away. The volunteer will be based in Blagoevgrad, a small university town situated 40 km from the school, with the opportunity to spend any amount of time in the Nature School.
YMY Centrum in Czech Republic is looking for a volunteer to take part in a one-year-long voluntary service. The project will be focused on free time and extra-curricular activities for children and youth (marginal focus on adults as well), public outdoor events (e.g. the Day of Europe, Children's Day, Welcoming summer holidays, festivals, competitions, etc.), promotion of such activities and of other general issues (e.g. volunteering) among youngsters, etc. The volunteer will spend 10 months working in the Organisation - 8 months on its premises in Holešov (over the school year from January to October 2019) and 2 months at summer camps away from Holešov (July and August 2019). Activities will include: helping organise/assisting in hobby clubs (so called ‘krou%u017Eky’), help with one-off events, trips for children, game days and nights, decoration of weekend events, etc. run by the organisation; helping with everyday running of the organisation and preparation of activities; and much more.
