Many possibilties to realise own ideas and projects. The Auslandsinstitut (Foreign Institute) works under the aegis of the Auslandsgesellschaft. The Institute communicates a wealth of information about "foreign" cultures as well as developing and maintaining contacts in numerous other countries.
We would welcome to host young volunteer with a minimum of 18 years, highly motivated by the European mobility experience and who wants to share with other young people about their experience and culture. Volunteers should be sensitive to people with social problems.
Through the educational service of the Museum of Robert Schuman, the CERS hosts about 7000 young Europeans per year with the aim of raising awareness of the European Union and of involving students mainly in a dynamic reflection on the future of Europe. This European education for youth takes the form of educational workshops and cultural events. Since 2006, the CERS has been proposing conferences and workshops on various topics such as energy policy of the EU and sustainable development.
Together with local youngsters and youth workers the volunteers will organise different cultural events, workshops and youth activities in general. VOLUNTEER PROFILE:Open minded and highly motivated volunteers, preferably with some experience/skills in intercultural learning processes and/or competence within youth culture activities; music, media, film, dance, sports/outdoor activities.
