JUKUS will organise either a shared flat together with other young people or a single flat (studio apartment) for the volunteer. There is the opportunity either to use a provided bicycle to reach the organisation or to use public transportation (ticket provided). The locations are reachable by bus or tram. As of food: Each volunteer will be provided with cash for his/her self supply according the Erasmus+ Guidelines.
Training during the project
The Volunteer will be provided at least with an On Arrival Training and a Mid Term Training, organized by the Austrian National Agency.
We are looking forward to work with young, open-minded, respectful volunteers who are interested in intercultural youth work and activities which foster incultural communication and understanding. The volunteers are expected to be very motivated to work with youngsters with migrant background and he/she should easily get in contact with them. Basic knowledge of German can help a lot with communicating with the team, the youngsters at the youth centre and with the people of Graz in general.
