We will supervise you on a wide variety of valuable outdoor practical management tasks on our varied network of nature reserves, such as:
Meadow management cutting and raking.
Control of invasive species such as Himalayan balsam or bracken
Peat bog management removal of scrub and installing plastic dams
Woodland management removal of non nativespecies, felling of timber to improve age diversity.
Access enhancements strimming and repairing footpaths, hide maintenance
Accommodation, food and transport arrangements
The volunteer will have an apartment with kitchen and bathroom which can to be shared with another volunteer. He will have his own bedroom. He will receive food for his meals. The host organisation will make arrangements to make easier the moving of the volunteer through the city.

We are looking for male & female volunteers who are interested in working outdoors in the environment A desire to work in the environmental sector would be useful We are looking for enthusiasm, desire, an easy going attitude and an ability to get on with others
You will volunteer with our project 4 days a week (Monday to Thursday). We will rent private accommodation close to the project location. This may be shared withother volunteers. We will provide you with a monthly allowance for food and pocket money. We have projects in 4 locations in Scotland.
