European neighbourhood and Partnership Instrument (ENPI)
The programme “ENPI Mediterranean Area” is part of the new instrument of European neighbourhood and partnership policy in the Europena Union, whose target is to promote transborder cooperation among both shores of the Mediterranean countries. Its main objective is to foster an area of peace, stability, prosperity and good neighbourhood.
The coast regions of the 14 countries in the mediterranean area can participate. The participants countries are: Cyprus, France, Greece, Italy, Malt, Portugal, Spain, Egypt, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon, Palestine, Syria and Tunisia.
