In order to accreditate the language level of their students, the University of Alicante organizes tests for accreditating B1 level on four languages: English, French, German and Italian.
From February 24 to March 09, 2012.
All the students from the UA, as well as its graduates, will have available in Virtual Campus the possibility to enrol in the test through these options "Secretaría Virtual" -> "Matrícula" - > "Mat.Prueba de nivel".
Graduates from other universities who wish to enrol in the B1 level test, as a requirement for accessing to the Master in Secondary Education Teachers, should contact the Mobility office.
Students can enrol in as many tests as they wish, as long as they pay each language's fees.
Fees for the level test will be 76,74€ for each language. Those students who are entitled to discounts must indicate it during the registration.
The Mobility unit will verify the application of these discounts.
After registration, a receipt will be generated, students must pay it before 20 March, 2011

Important: Students must be present at the classroom half an hour before the start of the tests, in order to have their ID checked before the start of the exam.

On Monday 29/05/12 from 10 to 11 pm, at the AULAS head of studies Office.
Once the test is passed, those who are enrolled on a degree or a master's degree may apply for incorporating language competences into their academic records, according to the foreign language test that they have passed. Applications will be handed in through UA's Virtual Campus. In this case, no supporting documents will be required.
The University of Alicante will establish deadlines each academic year to apply for such incorporation.
Students may also request a B1 certificate at the Mobility Office, on receipt of the issuance fees.
